Diana was excellent from the first meeting all the way to the closing table. This was our first time purchasing a home and Diana had no problem going over everything (more than once if needed) thoroughly. She did not rush us through the process but still made sure to keep us on track with every deadline. She kept our deadlines in mind, too. She listened to us, helping us to remember what we liked or didn't like about each house even when we were so knee deep into the experience that we forgot to check for certain details. When looking at new builds, she was especially on top of asking the right questions. Also important, she was an excellent negotiator. When we found the house we wanted, she was able to navigate it, learning what she could about the seller so that we knew what to expect and how to best move forward to get the best deal possible. We worked with Simon from Awaka Group and he was amazing! With how the prices are in Denver I really thought we would have to settle for a 4 bedroom home but he helped us to find a 5 bedroom home in Denver within our price range. He explained everything and walked us through the entire process along the way. He was very professional but also very laid back too. It probably wasn't the easiest working with us considering 4 of us had different wants and needs when looking for a home but he met all of them and found a home we all loved and had everything we all wanted. When we were getting ready to put our house on the market, we were a bit nervous trying to sell and buy a house in two months. Lucky for us, the Awaka team absolutely knows their stuff. Jesse came extremely well researched about houses in our neighborhood, Scott booked tours at a moment's notice, and Loren kept us all on track throughout both the purchase & sale. It was really this team-based approach that sold us on the Awaka approach -- every person was an expert in their role & constantly working to make this process as seamless as possible. They responded to our texts and emails immediately, and we always knew exactly where we were in both buying/selling processes. My situation was selling my parents Colorado home from several states away as the Personal Representative of their Estate. The Awaka Group was chosen to act as selling agent based on recommendations, experience with remote sellers, and proximity to the house. They turned out to more than live up to expectations. First, would happily choose to work again with Loren, Daniel, and Cameron of The Awaka Group. All contact was done remotely from start to finish, including the Awaka Group’s working seamlessly with the furnishings estate sale company, and the Title company through to the Closing. Requested copies of all paper work were delivered quickly and completely throughout the whole process. Contracts were securely signed remotely. A small example, a Professional Photographer missed pictures of a cedar lined closet. With only hours before listing, Loren drove over, got great photos, and edited them into the listing. She was knowledgeable, pleasant to work with, always quick to respond to questions, and consistently delivered on promises. Daniel knew the area, the market, trends, and had a good sense of timing in selling the house. He was excellent in handling negotiations and dealing with multiple offers. The house was listed just five days after the Estate Sale clean up. Four days after that the house was under contract, with the Closing just 21 days later. Credit must also go to the buyer who was well prepared, so there were no hitches through to the Closing. Cameron responded quickly when support was needed. All dealings with the very patient staff were professional, and they were all a definite pleasure to work with. The three emphasized teamwork and that was evidenced to be the culture of this whole group.
