EXPLORE LITTLETON.

A HISTORIC DOWNTOWN, RIVER TRAILS, AND A REAL HOMETOWN FEEL.

WELCOME TO LITTLETON

Littleton sits about 9 miles south of downtown Denver and is the county seat of Arapahoe County. It traces back to the 1860s, when Richard Sullivan Little settled here, and was incorporated in 1890. That history still shows up on every block of downtown.

Historic Main Street is the heart of town. Locally owned shops, coffee, restaurants and the Town Hall Arts Center make it a great place to spend an afternoon. Traditions like Western Welcome Week and the Candlelight Walk bring everyone out.

The South Platte River runs right through the city, with trails, lakes and Hudson Gardens along the way. Chatfield Reservoir is just southwest of town, and light rail stations downtown and at Mineral make getting into Denver simple.

REAL ESTATE IN LITTLETON

Littleton offers a mix you do not always find in the suburbs. Near downtown you will see historic homes and bungalows, and around them are mid-century ranches, split-levels and newer infill builds. Townhomes and condos sit close to light rail and Aspen Grove. Keep in mind a lot of homes have a Littleton mailing address but sit outside city limits, in areas like Columbine, Ken Caryl or Roxborough.

Pricing ranges from approachable condos to higher-end homes near downtown and the river. Buyers love the walkability to Main Street, the established neighborhoods and the quick ride to Denver. Older homes here often have great lots and character, and some are ready for a little updating.
