EXPLORE LONE TREE.
SHOPPING, LIGHT RAIL, AND OPEN SPACE IN ONE EASY SOUTH METRO CITY.
WELCOME TO LONE TREE
Lone Tree sits in northern Douglas County, about 18 miles south of downtown Denver, right where I-25 meets C-470. It incorporated in 1995 and has grown into one of the most convenient spots in the south metro. It's a short drive to the Tech Center and an easy reach to the mountains via C-470.
The lifestyle is easy. Park Meadows, the largest mall in Colorado, is here. So is the Lone Tree Arts Center, Sky Ridge Medical Center, and five RTD light rail stations that can get you downtown without touching a freeway. Weekends might mean brunch, a matinee at the Arts Center, then a walk through RidgeGate's open space.
But it's not all shopping and offices. The Bluffs Regional Park gives you a 2.7 mile loop with big Front Range views, and the city's design standards keep things looking clean and cared for. It's the kind of place where errands are quick and weekends feel wide open. For a lot of buyers, it hits that sweet spot between convenience and calm.

REAL ESTATE IN LONE TREE
Lone Tree offers a nice mix of housing. Established neighborhoods like Heritage Hills and Carriage Club have single-family homes on quiet streets, many with mature trees and mountain views. Closer to the city center you'll find condos and townhomes that work well for buyers who want low maintenance. Newer RidgeGate homes often come with community amenities and walkable access to trails and transit.
RidgeGate is the big story. This 3,500 acre mixed-use community on both sides of I-25 brings newer single-family homes, townhomes and apartments near light rail, trails and the Sky Ridge area. Prices lean toward the upper middle of the south metro, with something for first-time buyers, move-up families and downsizers alike. Older neighborhoods tend to offer bigger yards and a more established feel, so it really comes down to how you want to live.
